      Veteran Town Hall

This Veteran Town Hall's mission is to bring together Vets who are currently or have previously transitioned out of active-duty military service and began reintegration back into society. The Veteran community continues to be plagued by numerous problems for which only minor solutions have been established. With Political Pundits, Doctors, Lawyers, and everyone in-between speaking on behalf of Veterans, while not being one themselves, has created a false narrative in terms of how dire the situation is for our nation's heroes. Negative statstics demonstrate that these growing issues such as; drug and alcohol addiction, domestic violence, homelessness, incarceration, underemployment, and suicide are not being curbed but in-fact becoming more common. With over 70,000 nonprofits raising over $350 million dollars each year and millions being spent on governmental programs, grants, subsities, etc., How is it that these issues continue to grow? That is what Stories in Uniform Vetting America aims to find out. Our series of town halls will explore different Veteran niches and discover the hard truth about their lives and the problems they are continuously having to deal with. Through the awareness raised and information gathered, we hope to begin a real dialogue to begin creating tangible solutions that will see positive affects on a National Level. Please join SIUVA and myself for a couple hours on a Saturday evening and lets talk about what is really going on.
