      American Heart Association CPR Class

Please read the following carefully as it will answer most of your questions. Come learn CPR from the finest health care professionals from Pinellas Park Fire Department. You will learn adult, child and infant CPR with AED use. Classes are held on select Tuesday nights from 5:30pm till 8:30pm or Saturdays from 9:00am till 12:00pm and 1pm to 4pm  Please select a date from the dropdown menu and register which class you are interested in. Please sign up individually with each person attending. Classes are free and at the conclusion of the class, you will receive a BLS (Basic Life Support) Provider CPR certificate that is valid for two years.  This BLS provider course will encompass basic CPR and AED usage, as well as in-hospital CPR. This certificate will suffice for any work-related CPR card requirements for basic CPR credentials. This CPR class is  for individuals with little to no medical training or those who currently work in a medical field. Certain jobs that might require a BLS Provider card are: lifeguards, daycare workers, teachers, CNA’s, and any other BLS professions. We know plans change and unforeseen occurrences come up that prevent you from attending. We ask that you only sign up if you are sincere about attending the date you choose. We currently have a 60% attendance rate and spots are being withheld from those who would like to attend but the classes are “sold out.” For more information please contact us at: PPFDCPR@pinellas-park.com or call us at 727-369-5803
